Vacuum Tubes:
If a loss of vacuum occurs inside vacuum tube
SolarTechnology Sunsaver – 5 Year Warranty
Manifold:
Any leaking through brazed joints of manifold
Heat Pipes:
Should performance of heat pipes dramatically decrease in efficiency during the 5 year warranty period
Aluminium Frame:
If corrosion occurs above what is expected of the anodised aluminium
Plastic and Rubber:
If cracking and/or dry spots occur
Not covered under the warranty is the following:
Vacuum Tubes:
Breakage of the glass tubes during manual changes on the system
Breakage from impact of hail
Breakage by external forces: eg: branches falling from a tree
Manifold:
Metallic corrosion through bad water quality
Exposure to pressure exceeding 6 bar pressure
Exposure to temperature above 250 degrees Celsius
Aluminum Frame:
If frame is modified after initial installation
Plastic and Rubber:
If exposed to chemicals, solvents or other substances that would harm the durability of the rubber/plastic
The Collector:
If loss of efficiency or damage occurs due to stagnation or over heating when system is not covered up when left over longer periods without use of hot water
